For this redesign of Naomi Klein’s "This Changes Everything", I explored how book cover design can reflect complex themes through both research and visual strategy.
My first iteration was limited to type-only design, but for the redesign I conducted deeper background research into Klein’s arguments on climate change, capitalism, and corporate influence. Drawing from the book’s three-part structure, I created a collage-style composition that layered imagery to convey the themes of the book.
A monochrome palette unified the design, while high-contrast elements emphasized clarity and impact. The final cover reflects my ability to translate conceptual research into a cohesive visual identity that aligns with the book’s central ideas.
